MAT PILATES

Mat Pilates is a series of exercises from within the Pilates Method designed specifically to be performed on a mat. Joseph Pilates, the founder of the Pilates Method, developed mat exercises that were quite similar to the work done on Pilates machines.The idea behind this was to challenge your muscles in a variety of ways. The original Pilates workout included work on several pieces of apparatus - an isolated Pilates Mat work is a relatively new concept in the life of the method.

YOGA 
This class is a unique creative fusion of many backgrounds and teachers. This Asana (pose) seeking class is open to all levels, and will offer numerous choices for both the beginner and seasoned practitioner. Along with an artful flow-based sequence, teachers will pay close attention to specific detailed alignment and breath in order to bring you a well-rounded, authentic yoga-experience.

BOOTY BARRE

Booty barre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. booty barre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre.

 

 

 

TANGO

The tango dance is usually performed by a man and a woman, expressing an element of romance in their synchronized movements. Originally, the tango was performed only by women, but once it spread beyond Buenos Aires, it developed into a dance for couples.

Tango classes are a lot of fun and newcomers tend to pick up the dance quickly. Join us!

 

SALSA

Salsa is a spicy and energetic dance which is being enjoyed by people of all heritages across the world. The way to dance salsa varies enormously depending on the dancer’s place of origin and how he or she learned to dance. Incorporating other dance styling techniques into salsa dancing has become very common, for both men and women: shimmies, leg work, arm work, body movement, spins, body isolations, shoulder shimmies, rolls, even hand styling, acrobatics and lifts. It is the simplicity that makes dancing Salsa very flexible, so come join us to work out while you have fun!

ZUMBA

The high-energy classes are set to upbeat music and feature choreographed dance numbers that you might see in a nightclub. You don’t need to be a great dancer to feel welcome in a Zumba class. With the tag line, “Ditch the Workout, Join the Party,” the classes emphasize moving to the music and having a good time, no rhythm required. You’ll get a great cardio workout that melts fat, strengthens your core, and improves flexibility.
